Privacy policy

Effective 4 October 2026Covers Mutation Nursery and avaloneco.in

The short version

  • Mutation Nursery has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • Your progress is saved on your phone, not on our servers. We don’t run any servers for the game.
  • Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which uses device identifiers to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first, and you can change it in Settings → Privacy.
  • Purchases go through Google Play. We never see your payment details.
  • This website uses no cookies and no analytics.

Who we are

This policy is published by Avalone Co. (“we”, “us”), the independent studio that makes the mobile game Mutation Nursery (Android package com.trellientinteractive.mutationnursery) and runs the website avaloneco.in. It explains what information is involved when you play the game or visit the website, and why.

Questions about privacy: support@avaloneco.in.

What we collect

We, Avalone Co., do not collect personal information through the game. The game has no account system, no chat and no leaderboards, and it does not send your progress or activity to us. We do not use any analytics or crash-reporting service in the game, and we have not enabled Unity’s analytics or diagnostics services.

Two partners process some information when you play, as described below: Google AdMob (ads) and Google Play (purchases). If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.

Information stored on your device

The game saves your progress (coins, gems, gardens, plants, upgrades, Plantdex discoveries and settings) in a file on your phone. A record of what you have bought (a purchase receipt identifier from Google Play) is kept in the same place, so the game can give you your items and restore them if you reinstall.

If Android backup is switched on for your Google account, Android may include this file in your device backup, so your progress can be restored on a new phone. Backups are created and stored by Google under your Google account; we cannot see them.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Rewarded ads are optional: you choose to watch one in exchange for a reward. Short in-between ads may also appear during play; they are never shown when the game opens, and the one-time Remove Ads purchase turns them off.

To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the following with Google. This data is encrypted in transit.

DataWhy
Device and app identifiers, such as your advertising ID and app set IDShowing and measuring ads, frequency capping, fraud prevention
IP address, used to estimate a general location such as your countryShowing ads relevant to your region, fraud prevention
Ad interactions, such as ads viewed or tappedMeasuring ads, rewarding you for rewarded ads
Diagnostic information about the ad SDK’s performanceKeeping ads working, fraud prevention

We have set the ads in the game to content suitable for general audiences (rated PG or lower). How Google uses this information is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your choices about ads

  • Consent. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google’s consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy.
  • Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings (on most phones: Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads).
  • Fewer ads. Rewarded ads are always optional. The Remove Ads purchase turns off in-between ads.

In-app purchases (Google Play)

Purchases in the game are handled entirely by Google Play. We never receive your card details, billing address or other payment information. Google Play tells the game what you bought, and the game stores a receipt identifier on your phone as described above. Google’s handling of payment data is covered by Google’s privacy policy.

Notifications and sharing

If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your phone, for example when Big Weather starts or when your nursery is full. They are created on your device; no information is sent to us. You can turn them off in the game’s Settings or in Android settings.

When you share a picture of a plant you found, the game makes the image on your phone and hands it to Android’s share sheet. Where it goes next is up to you and the app you choose; nothing is sent to us.

This website

avaloneco.in is a static website hosted by Vercel Inc. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising and has no forms. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical information needed to deliver pages and protect the service, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in its server logs. Vercel’s practices are described at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. Fonts and images are served from this site; no third-party scripts are loaded.

Children

Mutation Nursery is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example by email), contact us and we will delete it.

Keeping and deleting data

  • Game data stays on your phone until you uninstall the game or clear its storage; both delete it.
  • Backups are kept by Google according to your Google account settings. You can delete them from your Google account.
  • Advertising data is kept by Google according to its own retention policies.
  • Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you, and deleted on request.

Step-by-step instructions are on our support page under Delete your data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, California’s privacy laws or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to a data protection authority. Because we do not hold game data about you, most requests are best directed to Google for advertising and purchase data; we are happy to help you find the right place. To make a request to us, email support@avaloneco.in. We do not sell personal information.

Google and Vercel may process information in countries other than your own, using the safeguards described in their own policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the game or website handles information (for example by adding a new partner), we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect, and mention it in the game’s store listing notes where appropriate.
