How it plays

Four things you’ll do a thousand times, happily.

01 · Grow

Plant it, then hang around.

Six garden beds wait in the backyard. Basil is ready in fifteen seconds; a rose takes closer to a minute. Stand next to a garden and it grows half as fast again, so there’s always a reason to walk the rows.

02 · Stack

Carry more than is sensible.

Harvested pots pile onto your arms: four at first, twenty once you’ve upgraded. Walk off quickly and the tower sways behind you. Drop them on the stands and shoppers wander in from the street to buy.

03 · Discover

Every harvest is a little surprise.

Any plant can come out mutated. A Golden one stops the music for a moment, shows you its card and sells for five times the price. The first of each kind pays out gems, too.

04 · Collect

Fill the Plantdex.

Sixty entries: every plant in its normal, Wet, Golden, Frozen and Giant look. Tap an empty one and it tells you how to find it, odds included. Complete a row and that plant sells for more.

Odds below are per harvested plant, straight from the game. Lucky Water and the Lucky Soil upgrade improve them, and the game shows you by how much.

Before you play.

Is it free?

Yes. Mutation Nursery is free to download and play. Optional purchases (gems, a starter pack, Remove Ads and a VIP Greenhouse) only speed things up. Everything in the game can be earned by playing.

Does it have ads?

Yes, two kinds. Rewarded ads are always your choice: watch one for a boost or extra gems. Occasional short ads may appear between moments of play, never when you open the game; the one-time Remove Ads purchase turns those off.

Does it play offline?

Yes, the game plays without a connection, and your garden keeps growing while you’re away. Ads and purchases need the internet.

Is my progress saved?

Automatically, on your phone, every few seconds and whenever you leave the game. If Android backup is on, your progress can come with you to a new phone. More on the support page.
