An independent game studio

We grow small, cozy worlds.

Avalone Co. makes calm, colourful games for your phone: the kind you open for five minutes and keep for five months. Our first one is a plant shop where the plants don’t always come out the way you planted them.

How we make games

Three rules we don’t break.

  1. 01

    Odds on the label.

If luck is involved, the game tells you the chances. Mutation odds sit right in the Plantdex and next to every boost, before you spend a single gem.

  2. 02

    No account, no sign-in.

Your garden is saved on your phone. We don’t ask for your name, your email or a password before you can water a basil plant.

  3. 03

    Made for the game.

Every plant in our first game, and every one of its 60 mutated looks, was modelled for it. Twelve plants, four mutations, one very wobbly stack of pots.

Now growing

Grow plants, carry towering stacks of pots to your stands and sell them to the neighbours. Every harvest is a little roll of the dice: roughly one plant in 83 comes out Golden and sells for five times the price.

A note from the studio

We started Avalone Co. because we missed games that feel like a garden. You leave, things grow, you come back and something surprising has happened. No streak to protect, nothing shouting at you to hurry.

Mutation Nursery is the first thing we’ve planted. If you play it and something feels off, or you have an idea for a plant, write to us. Every email lands with the people who made the game.
